RCCG Fruitful Tabernacle Visit to Old Peoples Home
The members of RCCG Fruiful Tabernacle visited the Longview old peoples home to sing the residents Christmas carols and just to keep them company for a few hours. It was a good meeting and some of the residents and staff appreciated our coming. The gospel of Christ was preached and the message passed across. Gifts were distributed to the residents and prayers done for them all. See pictures below
RCCG Purpose
The purpose of RCCG FruitfulTabernacle is not only to proclaim the Good News, the word of salvation, but also to demonstrate the love of God to people who are in need. Throughout Jesus’ ministry there was an evidence of a genuine holistic approach toward humanity; especially people who were marginalized, disadvantaged, and disenfranchised from society. These included the poor, the sick, the unclean, the prostitutes, and tax collectors—all outcasts as sinful people. Jesus expanded the Kingdom of God to places, people, and cultures that the Jews had never considered God to be interested in and has thus set these examples for many (Matt 9:10, 21:31, Rom 14:14).

RCCG FruitfulTabernacle serves the community of Canvey island in the name of Jesus Christ by engaging with the community through its outreach programmes which include visits to orphanages, old people’s homes, reaching out to homeless and lonely people and feeding the hungry. RCCG FruitfulTabernacle also engages with the local council to try and discover where needs are required and where the church can help.
