Prayer is vital to our daily Christian walk. It is a way of communicating with our heavenly Father in order to enhance our relationship with Him. God seeks a daily relationship with us and this is only possible through communion and daily fellowship with Him in prayer.
The Prayer ministry is primarily focused around a Programme called “I shall not labour in vain” which is a monthly programme held at the church premises on Saturday between 9.00 am and 11.00 am. At this meet, we pray for individuals and the community, based on biblical principles.
The following Bible passages show the importance of prayer;
Mark 11:24
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”. NIV
I John 5:14
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us”. NIV
2 Chronicles 6:21
“Hear the supplications of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive”. NIV
Job 22:27
“You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfil your vows”. NIV
